The UAS defence industry has been mainly focussed on the Iraq and Afghanistan theatres. As those wars wind down,

UASs are being used more and more in missions against non-state actors in a number of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African countries.

Autonomous stealthy missile carrying UASs are the systems of choice for these asymmetric wars. Most countries around the world are adopting a strategic policy of using Special Forces to fight these wars.

Our extensive UAS portfolio is ideally suited to Special Forces missions. IAS’s single family of small and medium size UASs, with sophisticated ISART and/or combat capabilities can be deployed across all Services, and is able to respond to immediately to mission requirements of each Service as they arise.

This capability is especially important where unexpected threats are occurring increasingly around the world and must be addressed in quickly and effectively.
